Below you will find the steps to purchase access to your Pearson Courseware after you have opted out of the Access program. To get started sign into your Learning Management System (LMS) and navigate to your course. You might work in Blackboard, Canvas, D2L Brightspace, Moodle, Sakai, or Schoology.

- Select the link to access Pearson. The link could be named:
- MyLab and Mastering or
- Pearson Course Materials
- If prompted, select Open Pearson.
- Select Open MyLab & Mastering and agree to any authorization requests.
- Follow the prompts to link your accounts.
- You might need to use an access option such as an access code or credit card. If available, use temporary access, Apple Pay, or PayPal. Some courses have Access now.
- Select Go to My Courses.
Steps to Purchase Access:
Course ID: You don't need a Course ID or invite link to register for MyLab and Mastering. If you’re prompted for a Course ID, clear your temporary internet cache. Then follow the instructions below.
1. Log in to the LMS as a student and enter your course.
2. Depending on your course setup, do one of the following.
- Select MyLab and Mastering or Access Pearson in course navigation.
- Select a Pearson link that goes directly to a specific assignment, course tool, or eText.
Don't know where to find the link?
Depending on your course setup, the link may be named differently or your instructor might need to adjust the course settings. If you still have trouble, contact your instructor.
Select the MyLab and Mastering/Access Pearson tool in course navigation or the Pearson Course Materials link in course topics/modules. You can also select a a specific MyLab and Mastering assignment, course tool, or eText.

3. If you selected Pearson Course Materials you will see select Purchase and then Purchase from Publisher
If you selected MyLab and Mastering/Access Pearson you will not see the above screen.
When prompted, select Open Pearson. Whether you see this button depends on your course setup.
4. Select Open MyLab & Mastering.
5. Depending on your course setup, you might be prompted to select an access option:
- Enter a Pearson access code. For example: SMPLE-FRILL-TONLE-WEIRS-CHOIR-FLEES
- Buy access using a credit card or, if available, PayPal or Apple Pay.
6. Select Go to My Courses to open your MyLab or Mastering course. (Refresh the page if you don't see this button.)
