To link your Pearson content to your Canvas courses, your system administrator must first enable Pearson as an LTI Tool Provider. Please confirm with your Canvas system administrator that this has been done. If LMS integration is not possible or desired, please work with your Pearson representative for set-up and delivery of course materials
Add the Pearson Link
> Open your Canvas course
> Select “Settings” in the left navigation. Then select the “Navigation” tab
> Under “Drag items here to hide them from students” at the bottom of the page, select “Enable” from Options menu (three dots) for “MyLab and Mastering”
> Move the item where you want in the list and select “Save”
> Select “MyLab and Mastering” from the left navigation
> Agree to any authorization requests
Pair Your Courses
> Select “Get Started” to link your accounts
> Enter the username and password from your existing Pearson instructor account and select “Link accounts”. If you don't have an account, select “Create an account” and follow the prompts. You can only link one LMS account to one Pearson account
> Select “Continue”
> Select “Get Started” on the Pearson Home page to pair your courses
> Create your course by choosing from the catalog, copying a previous course you have taught, or selecting the course materials provided to you
> If you searched the catalog, select your course materials
> Leave option for “Student-use course” selected
> Enter course name and description (make same name as Canvas Course)
> Set course dates
> Select “Create Course” (it can take up to three hours for course to be created)
> There will be an email confirmation and a link you can share with students
