LMS Linking Pearson - Blackboard
To link your Pearson content to your Blackboard courses, your system administrator must first enable Pearson as an LTI Tool Provider. Please confirm with your Blackboard system administrator that this has been done. If LMS integration is not possible or desired, please work with your Pearson representative for set-up and delivery of course materials
Add the Pearson Link
> Open your Blackboard Course
> Blackboard > Select content area or go to “Content Market Tools”
> Select “Partner Content > Content Market”
> Select “MyLab and Mastering”
> Blackboard Ultra
> Select “Books & Tools > View course and institution tools”
> Select “MyLab & Mastering”
> Choose or confirm you want to use the Ultra view
> Agree to any authorization requests
Pair Your Course
> Select “Get Started” to link your accounts
> Enter the username and password from your existing Pearson instructor account and select “Link accounts”. If you don't have an account, select “Create an account” and follow the prompts. You can only link one LMS account to one Pearson account
> Select “Continue”
> Select “Get Started” on the Pearson Home page to pair your courses
> Create your course by choosing from the catalog, copying a previous course you have taught, or selecting the course materials provided to you
> If you searched the catalog, select your course materials
> Leave option for “Student-use course” selected
> Enter course name and description (make same name as Blackboard Course)
> Set course dates
> Select “Create Course” (it can take up to three hours for course to be created)
> There will be an email confirmation and a link you can share with students
Please Note: An access code will be required for use of this material. Access codes will be delivered directly to students by Follett. Please work with your publisher partner to procure your instructor's copy
