LMS Linking Directions: Elsevier – Brightspace D2L

Evolve Link must be configured by the LMS Administrator prior to adding Evolve content to a course. If you don't see Evolve Link, contact your LMS Administrator to get the tool added to Brightspace for your institution. If LMS integration is not possible for whatever reason, please work with your Elsevier representative for set-up and delivery of course materials

Accessing Evolve Link
> Enter your Brightspace course
> Click “Content”
> Enter module name in the “Add a module field”
> In the new module, click “Existing Activities > External Learning Tools”
> Click “Evolve Link”
> Click the newly created item [Evolve Link] and your “My Evolve Content” will open
> Click “Create Link” next to the desired course section

> Return to Brightspace
> Click “Existing Activities > External Learning Tools”

> Click “Create New LTI Link”
> Enter a “Title”
> Paste the copied URL into the URL field
> Click “Create and Insert”

> Click the drop-down arrow next to the new link
> Click “Edit Properties in-place”
> Check the box next to “Open as External Resource”
> Click the new link to ensure it is accurate
